Educators understand and apply knowledge of student growth and development.

Throughout my practicums I ensured that I was planning with my students as the center of my lessons. I worked hard to have lessons that reached all learners on their level and reflected themselves within their learning. During my final practicum I was really pleased with the amount of time we were given with the students as it allowed me to witness the growth of my learners over the 8 weeks. I have seen students grow in their reading levels, writing levels and overall personal well being. It was such a blessing to see this growth as it solidified in me the desire to teach and the power of change and growth that comes with it.
